Baseball Game Preview: West Boylston Lions vs. Tahanto Regional Stags

The West Boylston Lions will square off against the Tahanto Regional Stags at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Boylston is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

On Monday, West Boylston got the win against Narragansett Regional by a conclusive 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tahanto Regional came up short against Gardner on Monday and fell 6-3. The Stags haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Jack Allen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.

West Boylston's win bumped their record up to 15-3-1. As for Tahanto Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

West Boylston came out on top in a nail-biter against Tahanto Regional in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 7-5. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Stags have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
