Wayne owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. Everything went their way against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines as they made off with an 8-0 victory. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Wayne, bringing their record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Nodaway Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
