North Platte got themselves on the board against Maryville on Tuesday, but Maryville never followed suit. They came out on top against the Spoofhounds by a score of 5-0. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Spoofhounds: they've now won six in a row.

Kate Wolf made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Wolf was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other pitching news, Charlie Hinton tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over 4.1 innings pitched.

Wolf wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Francis Kossen, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Sophie Greer also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.

North Platte's record now sits at 10-7. As for Maryville, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

As of now, neither North Platte nor the Spoofhounds have any future games scheduled.
