Football Game Preview: New Bedford Whalers vs. Weymouth Wildcats

The New Bedford Whalers will venture away from home to take on the Weymouth Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

New Bedford's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Lowell on Saturday. They took a blow against the Red Raiders, falling 48-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Weymouth challenged Newton North on Friday. The Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 34-6. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

New Bedford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Weymouth, their record now sits at 3-0.

New Bedford was taken down by Weymouth 34-0 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Whalers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
