Baseball Recap: Central Fellowship Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Central Fellowship Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Flint River Academy Wildcats. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Albritton, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double. Those two stolen bases gave Albritton a new career-high. Barron Hamilton also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Flint River Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Flint River Academy beat Central Fellowship Christian Academy by a score of 13-3 on Monday.
