Softball Recap: Lincoln East Sets Scoring Season-High Against Lincoln Southeast

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln East). They blew past the Lincoln Southeast Knights 18-7 on Tuesday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Lincoln East got a massive performance out of Nevaeh Coleman, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Coleman has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Bliemeister, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Lincoln East was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .531. Their batting average was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .375 that Lincoln Southeast posted.

Lincoln East's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lincoln Southeast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Lincoln East will square off against Lincoln North Star at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Navigators have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Lincoln Southeast, they will venture away from home to face off against Norfolk at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
