River Hill is a perfect 7-0 against Hammond since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hawks will head out to challenge the Golden Bears at 6:00 p.m. River Hill will be strutting in after a win while Hammond will be coming in after a defeat.

River Hill not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 21-0). They were the clear victors by a 34-14 margin over Long Reach. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Lightning: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Hammond fell victim to Howard and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Lions, falling 41-0. The loss continues a trend for the Golden Bears in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Hammond's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for River Hill, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Everything came up roses for River Hill against Hammond when the teams last played back in September of 2023, as the team secured a 57-0 victory. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Golden Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
