Baseball Game Preview: Marion Mustangs vs. Bowler Panthers

For the second straight game, Marion will face off against Bowler. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Marion is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Marion took an eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Bowler, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted against the Panthers since May 20, 2021.

Bowler moved to 4-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Marion, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
