Soccer Game Preview: Chestatee vs. West Hall

The Chestatee War Eagles will square off against the West Hall Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chestatee will be strutting in after a victory while West Hall will be coming in after a defeat.

West Hall will be up against a hot Chestatee team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Chestatee walked away with a 4-2 win over Madison County on Friday. Denny Zamudio had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the War Eagles.

Meanwhile, West Hall unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to Johnson on Tuesday. The Spartans have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Chestatee's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three contests. As for West Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Chestatee skirted past West Hall 1-0 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will Chestatee repeat their success, or does West Hall have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
