McMichael had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Morehead on Monday. The Phoenix blew past the Panthers 3-0. The victory was nothing new for McMichael as they're now sitting on five straight.

RICHARD CASTANEDA and DAMIAN OLAGUE-LOPEZ scored all three of McMichael's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

McMichael's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Morehead, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
