Volleyball Recap: Thornton Fractional South Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Thornton Fractional South entered their tilt with Hillcrest on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Red Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Thornton Fractional South took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11.

Earehc' Hill paced Thornton Fractional South's offense, picking up ten kills. Hill got some help from Candace Irvin and her 18 assists. Irvin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Thornton Fractional South's victory bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Hillcrest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
