Volleyball Game Preview: McCool Junction Mustangs vs. High Plains Storm

McCool Junction hasn't had much luck against High Plains recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Storm at 6:00 p.m.

McCool Junction is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since September 9th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to H&H.

While McCool Junction had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday High Plains sidestepped Southern Valley for a 2-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Storm.

McCool Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for High Plains, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

McCool Junction might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from High Plains in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
