Soccer Recap: AGWSR Comes Up Short

AGWSR was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to Hampton-Dumont/CAL. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hampton-Dumont/CAL this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in April.

AGWSR's loss dropped their record down to 0-10-1. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-4 record this season.

AGWSR has already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Waverly-Shell Rock on the 10th. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Iowa Falls-Alden on the 10th.
