Volleyball Recap: Carolina Forest Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carolina Forest lost against Bishop England back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Battling Bishops. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Battling Bishops 25-19 in the first set.

Carolina Forest started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-23.

Bishop England's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grace Stroud, who had 21 digs and four assists. Stroud has been hot, having posted 17 or more digs the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kate Cochran, who had seven digs and five aces.

Carolina Forest's loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Carolina Forest is taking a road trip to face off against Laney at 6:00 p.m. on the 4th. As for Bishop England, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lucy Beckham on the 29th.
