Softball Recap: Lincoln Southeast Takes a Loss

Lincoln Southeast couldn't beat Lincoln East on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Knights lost 18-7 to the Spartans. The Knights have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Addilynn Foley was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Avery Eklund, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Lincoln Southeast now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lincoln East, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lincoln Southeast will face off against rival Norfolk at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lincoln East is set to take on their familiar foe Lincoln North Star at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
