After a string of eight wins, Tabb's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the New Kent Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-13.
Haley Atkins paced Tabb's offense, picking up eight kills. Atkins got some help from Ayla Sharp and her 11 assists. Abigail Webb controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Tabb's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for New Kent, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.
