Softball Recap: Decorah-North Winneshiek Takes a Loss

Decorah-North Winneshiek has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.08 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the North Linn Lynx, falling 10-2. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lynx earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Decorah-North Winneshiek has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season. As for North Linn, the win got them back to even at 18-18.

Coming up, Decorah-North Winneshiek will be playing in front of their home fans against Charles City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Linn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
