Softball Recap: George Walton Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against South Paulding on Friday, George Walton Academy came back down to earth. The Bulldogs lost 12-6 to the North Oconee Titans on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.

With the defeat, George Walton Academy broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2. As for North Oconee, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, George Walton Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Lanier at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Oconee, they will challenge East Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
