Basketball Recap: Greater Latrobe Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Greater Latrobe can now relate to. They came up short against the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars on Friday, falling 68-47. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 167th, while the Jaguars are ranked 21st).

Greater Latrobe dropped their record down to 10-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Thomas Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4.

Greater Latrobe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will face off against Penn-Trafford on Wednesday. Penn-Trafford will roll in looking for their 24th straight win, something Thomas Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight.
