Preview: Quartz Hill Royals vs. Palmdale Falcons
Quartz Hill is 10-0 against Palmdale since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Quartz Hill Royals' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Palmdale Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on November 30th. Quartz Hill will be strutting in after a win while Palmdale will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Quartz Hill took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 56-21 victory over Littlerock. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-6.
Ashantee Palmer was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mandy Frozina, who scored 10 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Palmdale took a serious blow against Highland on Tuesday, falling 77-14. Palmdale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The win got Quartz Hill back to even at 2-2. As for Palmdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Quartz Hill against Palmdale in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 55-11 win. Does Quartz Hill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palmdale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
