Soccer Recap: Tipton Comes Up Short

Tipton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Regina Regals, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Tipton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 113th, while Regina are ranked 17th).

Tipton's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Regina, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tipton will square off against rival Beckman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Regina is set to challenge their familiar foe Maquoketa at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
