Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington lost against Therrell last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Panthers, falling 18-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Therrell, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on KIPP Atlanta Collegiate at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Bulldogs are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a 16-game losing streak. Therrell also won't see the field for a while: their next game is against Lovett at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th.
