Basketball Recap: Hollidaysburg Comes Up Short

After flying high against Philipsburg-Osceola last Monday, Hollidaysburg came back down to earth. The Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders. The Golden Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Marauders earlier this season, when they won 62-39.

Hollidaysburg's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 18-1 and their overall record down to 20-3. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

Hollidaysburg has already played their next match, a 67-35 victory against Central Cambria on the 13th. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-51 win against Bishop McCort on the 13th.
