Soccer Recap: Lynwood Comes Up Short

Lynwood lost to Warren back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. While losing is never fun, Lynwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 334th, while Warren are ranked 162nd).

Lynwood has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season. As for Warren, they pushed their record up to 8-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lynwood will challenge rival La Mirada at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Warren is set to square off against their familiar foe Paramount at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
