Soccer Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale fell victim to Torrance and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Tartars, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Glendale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 558th, while Torrance are ranked 11th).

Glendale has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for Torrance, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Glendale didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 9-0 defeat against Sierra Canyon on the 13th. As for Torrance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against South on the 13th.
