Baseball Recap: Adams Central Comes Up Short

Adams Central and Woodlan squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Adams Central had to settle for second. They fell 5-2 to the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Jets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Adams Central saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Everett, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

Adams Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-15-1. As for Woodlan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

As of now, neither Adams Central nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
