Basketball Recap: Millersburg Takes a Loss

Millersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Shamokin Area, falling 39-19. While losing is never fun, Millersburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 645th, while Shamokin Area is ranked 281st).

Millersburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Shamokin Area, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Millersburg will venture away from home to face off against Upper Dauphin Area at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shamokin Area, they will face off against Montoursville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
