Softball Recap: Herculaneum Takes a Loss

If Herculaneum was riding high fresh off their 17-1 takedown of Affton on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Black Cats lost 13-1 to the North County Raiders on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-4 back in September.

Herculaneum saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Lenington, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Herculaneum's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10. As for North County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

As of now, neither Herculaneum nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
