The Morrow Mustangs will venture away from home to face off against the Banneker Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Morrow is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Morrow had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Banneker on Wednesday. Morrow blew past Banneker 12-2.

Malachi Mingo made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Zoran Galloway was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ronald Wood, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Morrow kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Banneker is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7. As for Morrow, their record now sits at 8-9.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Morrow has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Banneker struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
