Baseball Game Preview: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Arabia Mountain Rams

For the second straight game, Chamblee will face off against Arabia Mountain. Chamblee will take on Arabia Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Chamblee had just enough and edged out Arabia Mountain 5-4. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Houston Buck made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Buck wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cole Harrison, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Sammy Heetderks also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Arabia Mountain and nudges their season record down to 3-12. As for Chamblee, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
