Blanchard entered their tilt with Cache on Thursday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Blanchard's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Cache, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.

Coincidentally, Blanchard and Cache will both be playing Chickasha the next time they take the field. The Lions will host the Fighting Chicks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
