Baseball Preview: Medford Mustangs vs. Chelsea Red Devils
Medford is a perfect 10-0 against Chelsea since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Travers Moodie was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2025.

In other batting news, Jayden Burns was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Medford: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-8 otherwise.
