Soccer Recap: South San Francisco Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, South San Francisco was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to the San Mateo Bearcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in January.

South San Francisco's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for San Mateo, their win bumped their record up to 10-2-1.

When South San Francisco and San Mateo next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. South San Francisco will square off against Carlmont and their six-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, San Mateo will try to stop Terra Nova's three-game winning streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
