After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Lutheran South brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Everything went their way against St. Pius X on Tuesday as they made off with a 10-2 victory. Lutheran South's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Lutheran South's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6-1. As for St. Pius X, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, Lutheran South will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Zumwalt North at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Pius X, they will head out on the road to take on Fredericktown at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Black Cats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Lancers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
