Baseball Recap: Camden County Comes Up Short

Camden County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 11-4 to the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets.

Will Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

Camden County's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Thomas County Central, they moved to 7-14 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

While Camden County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
