Soccer Game Preview: Northgate vs. College Park

The Northgate Broncos will challenge the College Park Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. College Park took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Northgate, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Northgate made easy work of Campolindo and carried off a 5-1 win. Considering the Broncos have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for College Park's offense. They fell just short of Dublin by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Gaels: they've now lost three in a row.

Northgate pushed their record up to 4-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those three matchups. As for College Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-5.

Northgate was able to grind out a solid win over College Park in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 2-0. Will Northgate repeat their success, or does College Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
