Sandia extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Isaiah Brown. The Matadors were the clear victors by a 92-70 margin over the Cibola Cougars on Wednesday thanks in part to Brown, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 29 games he's played dating back to last season.

Lavodrick Hogues was another key player, shooting 70% from the field to rack up 21 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Sandia's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Cibola, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Coming up, Sandia will take on Cleveland in a tournament on Friday. As for Cibola, they will host Highland at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.11 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
