Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sun Valley Magnet walked away with it. They walked away with a 37-30 win over the Torres Toros on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Pioneers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Sun Valley Magnet pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.0 points over those games. As for Torres, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Coming up, Sun Valley Magnet will be playing in front of their home fans against Manual Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sun Valley Magnet's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so Manual Arts' offense will have their work cut out for them. Torres does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
