Softball Recap: Ponca City Comes Up Short

Ponca City was the 8-3 winner over Sapulpa when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chieftains on Monday.

Ponca City's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Sapulpa, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-16 record.

Coming up, Ponca City is taking a road trip to take on Muskogee at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sapulpa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
