Football Recap: O'neill Piles Up the Points Against Monticello + How To Watch

While O'Neill put up plenty of points on Saturday, the same can't be said for Monticello. The Raiders breezed past the Panthers to the tune of 33-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Raiders just coasted through the last quarter.

It was another big night for Robert Trey Murphy, who rushed for 189 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards. AJ Mackey was another key player, throwing for 142 yards and two TDs on only 13 passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: O'Neill was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 232 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 203 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.

O'Neill now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Monticello, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

O'Neill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 28-21 win against Spackenkill on the 10th. As for Monticello, they have also already played their next game, a 38-0 loss against Red Hook on the 11th.
