Basketball Recap: Poly Skates Past Norte Vista with Ease

On Saturday, the Poly Bears took their match with ease, bagging a 68-11 victory over the Norte Vista Braves. That 57 point margin sets a new team best for the Bears this season.

Poly was led to victory by Penelope McIntosh and Abby Folsom. McIntosh posted 16 points, while Folsom had 16 points. Those 16 points gave McIntosh a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Juliet Zaragoza, who earned eight points.

The win made it two in a row for Poly and bumps their season record up to 10-8. As for Norte Vista, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Poly will be playing at home against Valley View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norte Vista, they will head out to square off against Rubidoux at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norte Vista is facing Rubidoux at the right time seeing as Rubidoux is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
