Softball Recap: Piedmont Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Piedmont's offense. They fell just short of the Moore Lions by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Piedmont's loss dropped their record down to 24-12. As for Moore, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-6.

Piedmont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-5 win against Norman on the 9th. As for Moore, they have also already played their next matchup, a 16-0 victory against Union on the 8th.
