Softball Recap: Pebblebrook Sets Scoring Season-High Against Douglas County

Pebblebrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-17 heartbreaker at the hands of the Douglas County Tigers. On the bright side, the 17- run effort marked the Falcons' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Pebblebrook's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Douglas County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pebblebrook will head out to challenge Osborne at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Douglas County, they will venture away from home to face off against Carrollton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
