Baseball Recap: Ware County Takes a Loss

Ware County fell victim to South Effingham and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for the Gators in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

Ware County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Effingham, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Ware County will venture away from home to challenge Etowah at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Effingham, they will host Carrollton at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
