Basketball Recap: Ischool of Lewisville Falls Despite Big Games from Mario Wooden and David Iweze

ISchool of Lewisville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 69-53 bruising from the Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy Eagles. The Cougar were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 80-76.

David Iweze and Mario Wooden certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Iweze almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds, while Wooden went 5-for-7 en route to 15 points and three steals. Wooden continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Seale, who posted four points.

ISchool of Lewisville's record is now 18-5. As for Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-9.

Coming up, iSchool of Lewisville will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
