Woodside is 9-1 against Hillsdale since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Woodside Wildcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS at 4:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Saturday, Woodside came up short against Aptos and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Hillsdale didn't have quite enough to beat Aragon on Thursday and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 460th, while the Dons are ranked 74th).

Woodside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-5. As for Hillsdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Everything went Woodside's way against Hillsdale in their previous meeting back in January, as Woodside made off with a 3-0 win. Will Woodside repeat their success, or does Hillsdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
