Soccer Recap: Hughson Finishes Even with Linden

Hughson pushed their score to three the last time they played Linden, but on Monday they couldn't quite do it again. Neither the Hughson Huskies nor the Linden Lions could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Huskies' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Nalani Lemmons, which was the first she's scored this season.

Hughson's draw gives them a new season record of 4-4-1. Meanwhile, Linden's record is now 2-4-1.

Hughson will square off against Grace Davis at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hughson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Linden, they will challenge River Islands at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
