Northwest's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Pacific Indians with a sharp 15-5 victory. With that win, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Northwest moved to 4-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Pacific, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Northwest will venture away from home to take on St. Francis Borgia at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pacific, they will take on Owensville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
