Basketball Recap: Castaic Takes a Loss

If Castaic was riding high fresh off their 48-24 takedown of Beverly Hills last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Castaic Coyotes were outmatched by the Saugus Centurions and fell 67-21. The Coyotes have struggled against the Centurions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Castaic lost on Wednesday, don't look at Harmony Winslow. Despite the final result, she posted seven points.

Castaic's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Saugus, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Castaic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saugus, they will challenge Dos Pueblos at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Dos Pueblos will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Saugus surely won't give up without a fight.
