The West Forsyth Wolverines will face off against the Lassiter Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Forsyth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

Last Friday, West Forsyth came up short against King's Ridge Christian and fell 15-12.

Mason Meehan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that he's launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Meehan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Lassiter lost 9-1 to Marist on Saturday. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West Forsyth's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs over those games. As for Lassiter, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
